Dubai’s Iconic Mosques Illuminate in Spectacular Light Displays for Ramzan
Dubai’s most renowned mosques are glowing with breathtaking light projections this Ramzan, offering a mesmerizing visual experience for residents and visitors alike.
As part of the ‘Anwaar Dubai’ project—an initiative by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office—four grand mosques have been transformed into radiant landmarks, celebrating the Emirate’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
The illuminated mosques include:
- Jumeirah Grand Mosque
- Al Khawaneej Mosque (Al Habbai)
- Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Mosque (Al Hudaiba)
- Zabeel Grand Mosque
Using cutting-edge lighting technology, these mosques are adorned with intricate patterns that harmonize beautifully with their architectural elegance. The projections extend beyond the domes and minarets, even illuminating the floors, creating a fully immersive experience that embodies the essence of Ramzan.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, emphasized that this initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to blending art, technology, and cultural expression to enrich the community’s experience during the sacred month, according to the Dubai Media Office.
Now in its second year, the #RamadanInDubai campaign—organized by Brand Dubai in collaboration with government, semi-government, and private sector partners—continues to enhance Dubai’s festive atmosphere and highlight its vibrant cultural traditions throughout Ramzan.
