Israeli Forces Kill Several Palestinians in Occupied West Bank

Israeli military operations in the West Bank continue as tensions rise.
WEST BANK (MNTV) — Israeli forces have killed at least four Palestinians, including a 60-year-old woman, in the ongoing operation in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Special forces engaged in a gun battle on Tuesday with armed Palestinians barricaded inside a house in Jenin, resulting in two deaths and one injury, the Israeli military reported.
In another incident, a man who opened fire on Israeli soldiers was killed, and a 60-year-old woman was also shot and killed by soldiers at a checkpoint. The Israeli military has not issued a response to the killing of the woman.
The violence continued with the death of a Palestinian man the previous evening, who was struck by an Israeli military vehicle while riding his motorcycle.
A separate incident saw a man accused of opening fire at the headquarters of Palestinian security forces in Jenin being killed by security personnel.
Since January, when Israeli forces launched a major military operation in northern West Bank cities and refugee camps, over 30 Palestinians have been killed. The operation has led to tens of thousands of Palestinians fleeing their homes, seeking refuge elsewhere as Israeli troops continue to demolish homes, infrastructure, and vital facilities like roads and water pipes.
International condemnation has grown over the scale of the Israeli military’s actions, with countries like France and Germany, as well as the United Nations, urging for restraint.
The Israeli military maintains that its operations are focused on targeting armed groups such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which have established strongholds in refugee camps populated by Palestinians displaced during the creation of Israel.
In addition to the ongoing military operations, Israeli settlers in the southern West Bank have been accused of attacking the village of Haribat al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta, near Hebron. Under the protection of Israeli soldiers, settlers reportedly used clubs and batons to assault residents and damage property.
These incidents reflect the continued violence and displacement faced by Palestinians in the West Bank amidst Israel’s sweeping military operation.
